City Sandy of Springs Initiates Historic Land Use, Transportation, and Parks Planning Effort
The city of Sandy Springs has initiated a historic planning effort regarding Land Use, Transportation, and Parks . This first-ever comprehensive planning effort will guide the actions of the city of Sandy Springs for years to come. Sub-Committees are being formed in the following areas:
- Land Use
- Transportation, which includes the development of a comprehensive Bike and Pedestrian Network
- Parks and Recreation
The schedules of the Citizen Advisory Committee and the Parks and Recreational sub-committee are posted below . As more information becomes available, we will post it on this web site.
The GreenTour's primary objective has always been the promotion and construction of a comprehensive and integrated Bike and Pedestrian Network for Sandy Springs, which is one of the Transportation Planning objectives, so we urge those interested in these issues to fully participate in the planning process. We also urge Sandy Springs residents interested in Park and Recreational planning and Land Use planning to fully participate in the planning processes
